So, here's the dealio--it's too violent. It's vulgar and it swears--a lot.Don't see it.
But it flipped my world and pulled me out of a huge funk.
James Macavoy says to Angelina Jolie's character: "Do you ever just want to be normal?"
Jolie: "No."
I don't really know how to describe the affect this movie had on me. The movie is about taking control and harnessing your power. And I needed that.
Done and done.

I LOVED it. So don't feel bad. Saw it on my own. No, Michael doesn't know. And I LOVED IT!!
It's indescribable!! It disguises itself as fun, but I heard that Jolie did the movie to help her get over her mother's death. I've always thought that it would great to do Hamlet as a comedy. This feels like that. The themes are incredibly heavy, but it's done as a comedy so the heaviness permeates you in such a different way. I love it!!
